Pause for Thought (Preview)

In which two princes are quite hopelessly gay, but haven't quite noticed it yet. Also they've been challenged to each confess their love to someone (and have it reciprocated) before the next full moon or perish at the hands of the fearsome and deadly Fae Queen.

It isn't going very well, and it's probably going to get worse.

This story was written for the 2021 Light Novelber jam, but I burned out quite heavily and had to adapt it into the middle part of a three-part serial.

...that hasn't stopped me though. I hope you enjoy what I've done in time, and look forward to a continuation in future (probably on Scribblehub).

Content warnings for this work: Mention of offscreen death, injuries/bleeding, arachnophobia triggers (transformation into quite a lot of spiders, offscreen), and mention of past transphobia. None of this is too overt, this is a light-hearted and extremely un-serious story, but it's best to be safe.
